..just tried to install Live with Ubuntu 9.04 using WINE. It looks like it's installed but i can't start the program? It is Live 6.0.10. Is this the problem? do I need a later version of Live?

Or am I hetting ahead of myself. You were using the windows version under WINE weren't you. Ahhh soo no actuall version spesificaly for Linux?

What.

Exactly. NeXT style browser for local and ftp... i find even the open and save dialog boxes in XP are often enough. Just the option to open more than one at a time would be amazing.

Launch apps and find files through google desktop search.

Full shell replacement in Chrome - that's awesome. Can I start sending you UI idea JPGs now?

Actually it's pretty much here with the google bar, chrome and alt-tab. Thx 4 teh idea dood.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting the SA to JSON functions! :-)

This is exactly what I was looking to do: have a simple utility function or two to take my SQLAlchemy mapped python objects and encode them to JSON.

Have you updated the code you posted?

I'm running into an issue encoding a datetime type (not serializable) and was wondering how you handled this.

Thanks again, -Eric
